HAUTE Couture Week is the highlight of my summer.
Below, a recap of my top garden inspired picks from the Fall 2016 Haute Couture shows:
Elie Saab just gets it. Every season the Lebanese designer incorporates a signature flower into his fanciful designs that leaves me breathless.
Fendi celebrated 90 years with a stunning show at Trevi Fountain in Rome with an all star cast (Gigi, KENDALl) and plenty of hand sewn APPLIQUÉ daisies in toe.
DOLCE AND GABANNA
Nothing says " Couture Week finale in Italy" quite like Dolce and GabBana's alta moda show in Naples. their next level flower crowns and rose adorned ball gowns gave haute couture week the finish it deserved.
Haute Couture gives us life in the midst of unbearably humid concrete jungle monotony. As less designers release these unique collections it is especially important to appreciate those that do- flowers and all. #itsplantporn
